No Other Way

There is only one way to heaven – through Jesus Christ. The religious world is shying away from the exclusivity of the one way as taught in the Bible. There is only one, true God. There is no multiplicity of ways to salvation. We must strongly proclaim to the world that there is only one, true, Bible way to salvation. Paul was not ashamed of the Gospel and neither should we.

Set Your House In Order

Just because you do not see it, does not mean it does not exist. Meetings like these provide a time to get serious about your record. What God is writing down, you are dictating. People know they need to be saved, but some are unsure of where to start. Begin by setting your house in order. Spiritual houses are in a mess – sinks in the bedroom, showers in the living rooms, and beds in the kitchens.
James 4:7-8
Your case is not hopeless – submit to God. He is greater than you and has the power you need. Begin by reading your Bible, praying, and submitting yourselves to God and his people. Take the necessary steps towards salvation. God has professional advisers in spiritual matters. We can offer 100% return on investment with dividends – forget 15%!
When you move towards God, He moves towards you. Make the right moves, take the steps, and you will be rewarded by His presence.
Do not get religious – get to the root of your problems and get deliverance.

The Valley of Decision

God is bringing you to a point of decision. He is putting you between a rock and a hard place. He is trying to bring you down into the valley that has a tall and difficult mountain on either side. The mountain on one side is called Death, the other one is called Life and both are very difficult to climb. People who endeavour to climb the mountain of Life but give up because of the steepness and danger, will find that the mountain of Death is even harder to climb.
Deuteronomy 30:15-19
Choose Life! There is no need to go on living with the pain and carrying the heavy burdens you have been carrying. What you have to do is decide. God does the saving after you make the decision.
Genesis 32:24-29
Like Jacob, you are going to have to wrestle with God and it’s going to be the most difficult fight you’ve ever engaged in. You know you want to be saved but God has been putting you off to test you. Your blessing is just a decision away. When God asks you “What is your name?”, He is saying that you need to decide if you’re going to continue doing things your way, or if you’re willing to change.
Luke 16:16
The saints are forming a human chain. Christ is at the top of the chain and the saints stand together, holding hands, to form a chain to reach down to you. We are anchored to him and we will not let go. We are helping you, all you have to do is reach out and take the hand that is offered. It will work, but you have to make the decision. You are going to have to press your way. You can make it…with the right decision. Stop worrying about your family or other circumstances – this is not their time. This is your moment – seize it!

Once again, we are thankful for your prayers as the Lord has done great things in these meetings. Souls are continuing to seek the Lord and getting saved. Please continue to pray because the meeting is not over yet and conviction has been strong and increasing. One more day remains and we need the blessings of the Lord.

Deception

Text: Galatians 6:7
All of us are one decision away from being deceived. Deception is not something far away or just for a sinner, it is waiting for each one of us.
All you have to do is sit here in this meeting with us and do nothing – that will deceive you.
Galatians 6:7-8
Deception is the thought, that, even if I do plunge into sin, for me it will be different, it will not happen to me.
Some live with merely a profession yet no real fire inside. On the outside everything may look okay – that is deception.
Deception works in many different ways.
When parents conceive the idea that they have all that their children need and fail to take them to Jesus, they are deceived.
You can not hold a grudge against the saints and still be in unity. If you hold a separate thought or opinion and think that you can still be a part of them, you are deceived.
He is not dealing with something that you do not know about, but rather with what you do know about. If you know that you need to be saved, that is all that He is asking of you.
Deception is always unbelievable, gets worse consistenly, and is the very basis of sin.
James 4:17
Acts 5:1-4
What happened in Acts is happening more often than what we see with our eyes. Be very careful what you do in a spousal relationship, refuse to enter into an unholy alliance. Remember, there are no secrets with God. You do not have to deal with deception now if you do not want to, but no one in eternity will be deceived. Each individual will know exactly where they are and why.

We are thankful to report that a number of souls that had been repeatedly attending during the week were gloriously saved tonight! The joy of salvation on their faces as they prayed through was unmistakably visible to those present. Please remember them in your prayers that they would be established and deeply rooted in the Lord.

Conviction

The burden of the message was directed to those that were under conviction. Even if you do not get saved or remember anything that was read or sung here tonight when you leave, conviction won’t leave you, it will stay with you.
The Holy Ghost knows no boundries and no limitations. In fact, the Holy Ghost is so relentless it makes its way everywhere.
God uses the very things of nature to deal with you. Really, it was the Holy Ghost that brought you here tonight, it was not your own choice.
John 16:8-9
When you sit here and it feels like everyone is looking at you, those are the eyes of the Lord that you feel looking at you. It is the chief work of the Holy Ghost to deal with us, without it we cannot be saved.
Psalm 32:3-4
Conviction is supposed to make you speak out. The longer you stay silent, the harder it will get to speak out. If you want the weight of conviction to ease on you a little bit, start confessing.
This experience is the same for everyone because it is the same Holy Ghost.

Weary of Repenting

Text: Jeremiah 15:6
This particular “repenting” means the staying of the hand of God from destroying us. God is waiting to pour out His judgment and He is tired of holding back. In human terms, He is “sick and tired” of forbearing with you, but not willing that you should perish. He has sent numerous messages your way in the right language, at the right time, and He is weary of the lack of response.
Genesis 6:3
God’s striving with you is not infinite – you only have a limited amount of time with the dealings of the Lord. The people in Genesis did not know that God had already determined 120 years for them and not one day more. He has already set his limit on many of you and will not deal with you forever. There is only one thing for you to do now: Do what you know you have to do.
God is a merciful God; He left the people with a sign. There should have been enough curiosity in the people to really find out what was going on in Noah’s day. Just seeing the animals doing what was contrary to nature should have been enough for them to see that God was forbearing His judgment. After the door was shut, there were people who began seeking God in earnest, but it was too late. God had determined 120 years. How many more animals do you need to see? How many more years do you have left?

God is listening and watching and He is still coming down to see what you are doing. It is all adding to the fury of His wrath.
Genesis 19:12-14
God is saying “Go, get whoever you can.” He has sent us for the purpose of destruction and anyone who will not get out will be destroyed. You can mock all you want to, but it is God who will have the last laugh. When the Judgment begins, mercy will not be available – God is weary of holding back.
Jonah 1:2
These people had a great privilege, when God announced to them that they had 40 days. After only one day of hearing the preaching of the message, they knew. They didn’t wait until the 39th day, but rather fasted and prayed. Even their animals fasted and God stayed His hand.
God is through playing with people, so you are the one in danger. The Ninevites are watching what you will do with what you hear. Will you take care of business and do what you need to do?

The Lord is dealing with hearts and we have been having a number of repeat visitors. Please continue to pray, that, as the meeting progresses, souls would receive the help they need.

Knowing the Time

We are a time conscious people – that is undeniable.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
Everything you do is based on time: You get up at a certain time, you agree to meet someone at a certain time; and if someone is late, you go back and look at the time. Our bodies show the effects of time and you can feel time. Everyone knows that there is a time when they must die. There’s no stopping it when the time comes. The most important thing for us to do is recognize the time. There is general time and then there is God’s time. When God says it’s Winter, you live accordingly; and when God says it’s Summer, you don’t go out wearing gloves and a coat. God expects us to know what time it is.
Matthew 25:5
The ten virgins all slumbered and slept because it was nighttime.

Revelation 8:1
There was silence in Heaven because people didn’t recognize the time. When there should have been a great, joyful noise, there was silence. You have to know the time so you can be stirred every day and you can’t afford to miss what’s going on. Everyone has a sense of time; you are responsible.

Sleepiness is right next to you. If you don’t wake up, you’ll crawl right back into bed and reset the alarm. You’ll sleep another hour and it will be forever too late.
We don’t have time to wait for you. Hurry up! If you don’t do everything possible to keep awake, you will go back to sleep. If you’re always late, God will fire you!

The First Commandment

Text: Ephesians 6:2
OBEY – it’s a word that has become a rarity and it has almost become vulgar. People don’t want to hear it, yet it’s the first and only commandment. After all, this is the “whole duty of man”.
Genesis 2:16-17
People have debated what kind of tree this was. Was it an apple or a pear? What was the “knowledge of good and evil”? It doesn’t matter. God only asked Adam to do one thing – not to touch it. All He had to do was obey.
Some people just have a problem obeying. All that man is supposed to be doing is summed up in one “ugly” word – obey. But its NOT ugly for the saved person.
Ephesians 6:1-2
Parents want their children to obey, but yet the reason many children rebel is because they don’t see their parents obey.
You need to learn to obey when it hurts. If you need to obey, it will necessarily be something you had no intentions of doing.
You got saved by obeying; do you want to stay saved? OBEY.
Husbands, obey your wives. Parents, obey your children. It doesn’t matter if a donkey or a rooster tells you what to do, if they’re right you just need to obey.
You were created for obedience, so there is no way out of it. You will either obey the Devil or the Lord.
2 Kings 5:8-13
Naaman expected Elisha to do everything. He didn’t want to do what the servant told him, but you have to obey before God will do the great and mighty thing.
Philippians 2:5-7
Servants do what they are told. Christ came in a low way and died the death of a malefactor – this is real power. Everyone wants to be accepted and the key is obedience.
“The greatness of a man’s power is in the measure of his surrender.”

We are very thankful how the Lord is blessing us right from the beginning. We had a wonderful song service. A number of visitors came out. Please continue to pray for the meeting and for the souls that have been invited, as we are expecting the Lord to do great things.

“There is hope – in Him!” – Bro. Daniel Layne

A serious message on Do Not Lose Your Soul was preached by Bro. Abe Redecop in the morning service. We must walk carefully to guard our soul. If you lose your soul, you have lost everything. Do not focus on your business, riches, or friends. Focus on your eternal soul. Ensure that you will not lose it. Do you see the dangers around you? We must have a continual gain in our soul or we will end up losing it. The devil has a lasso, waiting for the moment that we will step off the way. Remember, when you go home, the devil will be after you more than before you came.

With a number of vistors present, Bro. Daniel Layne preached on There Is Hope in the evening service. He spoke of his many life experiences as a former addict on the streets of San Francisco. His condition was irreparable – he thought, no hope and without strength. His parents and friends begged him to forsake his street life, but to no avail. Then one day, the Lord let him know that there was a way out, if he would let the Lord take over his life. The life-transforming power in the blood of Jesus is still as strong as ever. With the blood there is hope that things can get better. It is not just for one person – it is for everyone! He mentioned that, although he may have many needs, he is far from what he was, through the power in the blood. You can have Someone that really loves you! There is really hope – for you!

It was a great blessing to see souls getting saved this evening. One, Bro. Estevan Rios, had been heavily addicted to drugs for years. His brother Carlos was saved last year, as was his mother earlier this year. He is originally from Culiacan. Another new brother, 15 years old, is from Durango. What an amazing sight to see the Lord save souls, regardless of background or culture.

“Will you go with us to heaven?” – Bro. Benjamin Tovstiga

Sis. Elizabeth O’Shea preached, in the morning service, on Bearing the Burden. If we do not bear the burden for others that Jesus bore for us, it will devastating. It will be terrible for someone to be lost because your burden decayed. We need people willing to risk their lives to pull souls out of the fire. Rescue workers are urgently needed. Souls are going into eternity at an alarming rate – what will you do about it? Will you volunteer to rescue? Or, have you grown callous at the thought of eternity? God needs young people that will get past themselves and bear a real burden for the lost. Let the burden for souls consume your life.

Following the morning service, the saints traveled approx. 8 kms to a site near La Quemada for baptism. It was a great blessing to see 6 sisters and 3 brother being baptized. Due to rain the previous afternoon, the road to the baptism turned into a quagmire.

Many visitors attended the evening service. Bro. Benjamin Tovstiga preached on The Sign of His Coming. We are obligated to let you know that the end is near. That day will likely be just like any ordinary day. Then, the Son of God will split the skies and begin the judgement. At that moment your eternal fate will be irrevocably sealed. The Lord promised that He would send a sign before He returns. He is gathering His people one more time from across the world. This is the sign that His return is imminent. Nowhere else can you find a gathering of people from such diverse backgrounds, languages, and cultures – but yet exhibit such unity. The Lord is not returning for no reason at all. He is certainly returning for one purpose – to take His Bride – the Church – home. People are asking for a sign and miss it right before their very eyes. Some see the sign and strain at the little “gnats” that do not quite suit their fancy. Meanwhile, they are shoving chunks of “camel” meat down their throats while they complain and criticize the work that God is doing. Do you see the sign? Our one question to you is: Will you go with us to heaven?

“Praise God the doubts are settled!” – Bro. Daniel Layne

The morning service was devoted to the observance of the ordinances of Feetwashing and the Lord’s Supper. It was a blessed time of fellowship as the saints washed each other’s feet, with the brothers and sister at respective locations. Afterwards, everyone met together once again and the saints partook of the unleavened bread (representing the body of Jesus) and the grape juice (representing the blood of Jesus).

Bro. Daniel Layne preached on the Witness of the Spirit, in the evening service. You need the witness of the spirit whether you are saved or not. If he says “No” – you’re not. If He says “Yes” – you are. At some point in time you need to come to a place where you are transformed by the blood. People are trying to be better morally – but without that divine spark it is not enough. He has it for every colour, race, and culture. Praise God the doubts are settled – it’s real. You can convince others around you that you are saved, but unless you have the witness of the Spirit of God you are not saved. We can be eternally secure if we stay in this salvation. We must have the positive witness or we will go to eternal damnation.

“Someone may need to see a walking tract.” – Bro. Daniel Layne

Housekeeping was the theme of Bro. Daniel Layne’s message in the morning service. There is a lot wrong with you, what are you going to do about it? The best you can do is to make the best of what you are, which is not much. We need to pray that we may be an example that someone can follow. Whatever you do, do not be hypocritical. Be what God wants you to be. The world needs to see a distinct people. We are not looking for union, but rather unity. Unity is of utmost importance to us. Wickedness is not just smoking or drinking, it also includes having a double mind. Unity is not manmade – it is a product of fervency in Spirit.

An encouraging message on God Cares for You was preached by Sis. Trudy Wiebe in the evening service. If you have children, you have asked things of them that they did not understand. Nonetheless, it was exactly the right thing for them at that particular time. God works the same way with His children. He always has our best interests in mind. God knows each moment how many hair you have! If He loves the raven, surely He loves you. God is watching to see if have needs or cares – He never sleeps. Put your cares where they belong – with Him. If you call on him for help, He is perpetually prepared to provide His assistance in every situation you face. If you are not saved, God is more concerned about you then with those that are saved. Your sins grieve Him, but still, He loves you and wants you back in His fold. It is His greatest joy when you ask Him to come in your heart. Never forget – God will always be there for you.

“If you are not saved, you are tempting God.” – Bro. Isaac Thiessen

Sis. Elizabeth Strizu preached on the Urgency to Get Your Needs Met in the morning service. What is lacking in your spiritual life? Do you want to be made whole? Jesus is ready to meet your need. We have one another to help us out. Whatever you need, you can have it. Your needs can be met without delay. The devil would like you to sit back and study your need. However the time comes when you need to rise and take care of it. Get the victory you need – now!

In the evening service Bro. Isaac Thiessen preached a serious message on Preparing for the Judgement. The world is like a cup of dirty water in the hand of God that is filling up. Are you a part of this filth? If you are, you will be cast away by God in the judgement. These last days were prophecied to be as the days of Noah, where the world would follow after their own hearts. If you are not saved, you are tempting God. And, if you tempt God, you are in a very dangerous and precarious situation. We must run from sin to be saved. Where the blood has not been applied, there is sin. Sinners need to wake up now and act before the judgement is here. If you ignore the Spirit speaking to you, you are in great danger of eternal damnation. The blood of Christ is available to you now – do not delay another day. Now you have the opportunity to prepare – seize it!

“Only a shared live is worth living.” – Bro. Henry Hildebrandt

In the morning service, Bro. Peter Hildebrandt preached on Where Is the Wisdom? Problems are all around us. This begs the question – where are the wise? What is the solution? Have you found the solution for your sadness and hurt? If your problems have been solved, you have found the One that has the wisdom to solve your problems. Through the foolishness of preaching, God has provided a solution to your problems. Whatever problem you may have, we have found the solution. It is Christ, the giver of wisdom. Wisdom is nearing yourself to God – he is waiting to solve your problems.

The Selfish Life was the subject of Bro. Henry Hildebrandt’s message in the evening service. We are in great danger of living a selfish life. Generally speaking, we are wealthy, but we cannot afford to hold these things for ourselves. We are under pressure to be “normal”. Get married, have children, build a house close to the chapel, and come to the services. This is not what God wants from us. It is easy to be normal. We need to go beyond our comfort zone and do more. How did the Gospel reach you – by selfish people that were afraid to sacrifice some comforts? No, it was because someone went beyond their comfort zone. We will not waste our lives by living for God.

“We are one breath from death.” – Bro. Daniel Layne

Sis. Sarah Tiller preached on Can These Bones Live in the morning service. Your dead bones, dry as they are, can live! You may have been in sin for many years, but you can live. The Lord has done many miracles and he is ready to perform one on you. It does not matter how deep you may have gone – Jesus is ready for you. He is weeping at your tomb (John 11:35). If you have not met up with the Christ of Calvary, you are dead and He is, indeed, weeping at your tomb. If you are not resurrected in this life, you will be dead for all eternity. Jesus deserves your talents and all of your time – what are you waiting for?

From Monday through Friday, children’s services are held at 5:00 PM. Many children are brought in from the surrounding area. For many, this is their first exposure to the Gospel of Jesus.

In the evening service, Bro. Daniel Layne’s theme was Running For Your Life. We need to run to make it to heaven. Whatever you have to do, do it. God never created anyone to be lost, but many are dead and dying. Spiritually dead and physically dying. People are afraid of cancer or a heart attack, but who is afraid of God? The prayer to get saved is a prayer to change the mind of God. Has the mind of God changed concerning your eternal destiny? We should want to do anything just to avoid eternal hell. There is a great day coming and if you are not ready, you will be in for a big surprise. All of us will meet one day at a great, white throne in the sky, where we will be one on one with God. Everyone will know that day in their heart what they deserve. That judgement is coming soon, will you be ready?

“Salvation is not on sale!” – Bro. Benjamin Tovstiga

Approximately 310 saints have gathered for another meeting in northern Mexico. It is a special blessing to have over 60 saints from Chapultepec, Baja California here. A bus was chartered to carry all the children and helpers from the Children’s Home. They arrived with great excitement and anticipation on Saturday afternoon. Many of them had never traveled beyond their immediate locale and were thrilled to travel for 25 hours across northern Mexico. A large number of those attending the meeting speak primarily Spanish, so all the messages will be translated or preached in Spanish.

In the first service on Sunday morning, Bro. Daniel Layne preached on the Value of Holy Fellowship. There is a real, tangible value in holy fellowship with the body of Christ. We need this fellowship to make it to heaven. The body needs to be compacted until all the air is on the outside and no gaps are apparent. This is a place for serious people to get serious help. There is a binding power through the God’s ministry for the protecting of the saints, the strengthening of the household of faith, and the elimination of spiritual independence (see Matthew 18:15-18). This is a very positive message that will make your life meaningful and purposeful.

Paying the Price was the theme of Bro. Benjamin Tovstiga’s message on Sunday evening. Cheap religion has no value, but true Christianity demands a high price. When the martyrs were burned on the stake, people were convicted and convinced that these martyrs had the true religion. Salvation is never going on sale. The price the martyrs had to pay – everything – is the price we have to pay. If we do not pay the full price, how could we stand in heaven with those martyrs? Are you holding back? Most people are walking around with their pockets sealed – not willing to pay the price. The man in Matthew 13 that found the pearl of great price, sold all to get it. Jesus paid it all – all to him I owe. People are willing to empty their spiritual pockets of all their pennies, nickels, and dimes, but they hold on to that one $100 bill. What do you need to pay? Just what you are holding on to. If not, heaven will not be your eternal home.

This morning Bro. Randy Hargrave led a study on The Light. The light is moving and it’s of most importance that we stay in the light. If we’re not moving with the light, we’re not godly. We have to keep on walking in the light until we run into eternity. John 12:35-36 John 9:5 Acts 1:9 Matthew 5:14 Revelation 12:1 clothed with the light of the world. Rejecting Jesus is not casually done. Numbers 16:28-30 Some people have resolved to take the prick of Jesus for the rest of their life. Many people are saying that the Lord has given them light, but the after-effects are not there. If you’re not in the light, God will not back up what you know. If you fall from the light, you fall right into the mouth of the eighth beast. You can grieve away the light. The Lord won’t just stay there and continually talk to you. But you need to move with the light. The Lord has set it up so that you can only get food at one place. Proverbs 31:10-14 talking about the Church. v.14. She is the only one that has food. You’ll have to leave your Israel and and come to God’s Egypt in order to get some food. Some people will not leave the dark ages. Their heart is still there. During the time of Protestantism was the period of great sect making time. John 1:11-12 Romans 1:16 Acts 13:46 In every time period it was needful that the Lord spoke to everyone who held the truth last. When Jesus was born He went to His own- the Jews, beause they were the last ones who held the truth. The last element that needed to be restored was the One Body. If your Church can be destroyed, it’s not the Church of Jesus. Revelation 9:13-19 Song of Solomon 2:15 The devil wants to come in so small that you’ll think it’s ridiculous to deal with. The Lord in His mercy brought us to the very place where He last left off. The eighth beast has always been religious.

This evening Bro.Stephen Hargrave led a study on The Pentecost Experience. Luke 22:31-34, 54-62 People attempt to use this scripture to prove that the disciples were not saved. But it says, ”Satan desires to have you.” That means he didn’t have him. Acts 1:4-8 Genesis 2:7 It’s not possible to claim the Holy Ghost and not to be able to live holy. God did not create Adam as a sinner. He was a sin free man. Adam was not created with a sinful nature. God did not make a million men at that time because the human race was suppose to conduct itself as one man upon the earth. Some people mix up humanity and profession. Romans 5:12-15 When the head of human race is out of order, everyone else is out of order too. Psalm 51:5 Romans 7:5,7-12 Sin speaking of here speaks of the sinful nature. v.8. concupiscence- the active and individual desire resulting from the diseased condition of the soul. Titus 3:4-5 Romans 5:15-19 Jesus is the second Adam. He came to put man back into the position they were when in the Garden of Eden. Acts 2:1-16 Acts 10:44-46 Some people don’t get sanctified because they don’t want to talk to Peter. You can’t get what happened at Pentecost unless you are ready to just do anything. Acts 15:7-9 1 Corinthians 12:12,18 Carnality divides. Isaiah 4:1-5 There are things that are trying to get you away from Jerusalem and one of the main things is carnality. John 14:13-17,26-27 v.17. An unsaved person can’t receive this experience. There are things that can’t be understood while in the condition of the sinful nature.

Bro. Randy Hargrave again led the study this morning. Through the Gospel Day there has always been a voice from heaven. There has always been Truth on earth. Revelation 6:1-9 The horn and the beast are the same thing. Proverbs 21:31 proves that the horse is a symbol of military. The white horse was set never to stop. The white horse was riding through the noon time as well. People were still getting saved during that time. The reason for the pale horse to be a lighter color was because it was trying to blend in with Christianity. This pale horse got closer to the Lamb than all the other horses did. Revelation 19:11-15 v.13. The blood that is mentioned here is the blood of His enemies, which were the other horses. Song of Solomon 8:5 Speaking of the woman mentioned in Revelation 12. As you will recall there was a place prepared for her in the wilderness. During the dark time, Wycliffe, Huss, Luther and Menno Simons got light on Justification. During Wesley’s time they received even more light: Justification and sanctification. This was during the time of the pale horse. The brethren during the time of darkness were not in a position to receive light on the one Church. Justification didn’t come floating through the air, men were connected to it. Genesis 26:12-22 He went back to the place where his father last was. He didn’t go out somewhere and dig his own well. It was the same way with the brethren God was able to use through history. They didn’t try to build up something on their own, but they went right back to the well that someone before them had already dug. During the reformation time D.S.Warner got light on salvation, sanctification, and unity. The Lord gave D.S.Warner a new commission to join holiness and all truth together and build up the apostolic Church of the living God. The brethren got a vision of the Gospel Day during the reformation. Revelation 18:1-4 People are trying to take the Church of God teaching and bring it back to their sectism. But you can’t fix sectism. Revelation 16:13, 17-19. V.19. Three parts- Paganism, Catholicism, Protestantism.

In the evening Bro. Stephen Hargrave led a study on ”Salvation.” The reason why some don’t believe the doctrines of the Church is because they’re not saved. Titus 3:3-5. This is a description of how we all use to be. But there’s a washing that took place. Just getting saved will put you in a position to receive any doctrine that comes from Jesus Definition of saved-preserved from evil or injury. A saved person has the ability to see what is being preached. 1 Corinthians 1:18 Romans 4:20-25, ch.5:1 Some people can not get saved because they stagger at the promise that God can save them. v.24. Righteousness will be ours if we believe. Definition of being converted – to twist, to turn around, to change from one state to another. 1 Thess.1:9 shows a turning away from what you once were. 1 John 2:29 John 1:11-12 There’s no such thing as as a Christian that’s not born again. Saved people are sweet. Regeneration makes you sweet. Some people would rather have their religion than salvation. Definition of redeemed-to purchase back, to liberate or rescue from captivity or bondage, rescued from any obligation or liability to suffer. Regeneration includes the removal of past sins, and also the removal of the guilt of sins. Rom. 3:25 Eph. 2:3 2Cor. 5:17 To get saved you have to give up everything that you know about. Some people have to give up their “Christian religion” and get saved. You can’t have a good heart and not be saved. This experience gets inside your conscience and purges it. 1John 3:1 includes adoption into the family. This experience includes a witness of the Spirit.The witness of the spirit includes a sinless life. Did anyone have this experience during Pentecost? Luke 1:16-17 Mark 1:4 Repentance is a baptism. 1Corinthians 12:13 You get into Christ by a spiritual birth, it has nothing to do with man. The disciples that Jesus chose have the same New Testament experience that we are experiencing in these times. Luke 6:12-13 John 17:6-8 John 1:11-12 #1They were sons of God because they believed. #2They were abiding in Christ because God told them to stay there. #3They were not of the world just as Christ was not of the world. Mark 3:13-15, 22-25 He did not send forth devils to cast out devils. Luke 16:16 The Kingdom of God is preached, not the law. Some of the terms used in the Bible that mean salvation: conversion, justification, born again, saved, washed, redeemed, regeneration.

This morning Bro. Randy Hargrave led a study on “The Eight Beasts.” The eight beasts are representing the manifestations of opposition against God’s people. 2 Corinthians 2:11 2 Corinthians 11:13 Satan use to fight the Church, then he found out that it didn’t work, so he joined the Church. People are asking the devil where the devil is. John 11:48 The devil is trying to get people to hell and he’s doing it through the pulpit. The eight beasts are a part of one another. Every time the beast for that particular time was found out by the Brethren, he had to put on a different costume. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever. If Jesus never changes that means that Christians never change. Between A.D.270-1530 John Wycliffe, John Huss, Martin Luther, and Menno Simons exposed Catholicism; the devil had to put on a different costume again, so he put on the costume of protestantism. The devil has advanced and you have just barely gotten away from one beast. But if you don’t get clear away you will get caught up in another beast. Revelation 17:11 Daniel 7:3-9,17-25 sea = people. Lion-Babylon(Daniel 2:38) Bear-Medo Persian Kingdom. Leopard-Greek Kingdom, which represents Alexander the Great. All the beasts were civil powers which means they were fighting each other. Dan. 7:24 The fourth beast changed from a civil power to a religious power. Revelation 13:1-18 Daniel 4:34 A time – one year. And times -2 years; and the dividing of time-half a year which is forty two months, which is 1260 years Numbers 14:34 Ezekiel 4:6 – every day for a year. The horn was going to keep going 1260 years. Rev.13:2 The first beast before him was Catholicism. The dragon didn’t give him his seat because he was generous, but because he was found out. Rev.12:3 – paganism. Everybody who rejects Jesus is a pagan. Acts 17:22-24 We can not defeat the beast of our time with the understanding of John Wesley’s time because their light had only reached 60.

In the evening Bro. Stephen Hargrave continued the study from the previous evening on “The Chosen People.” Romans 9:3-8 Romans 2:11-29 (v.25) By breaking the law you are actually making yourself not a Jew. In another words, you’re just like the heathen if you break the law. (v.26) If you keep the righteousness of the law, you’re not actually a heathen. (v.27) The Gentiles who are keeping the law are actually judging the Jews who are not keeping the law. Philippians 3:3-13 Paul counted everything a loss so that he could be a real Jew. Romans 11:11-16 God used the stumbling of the Jews to get to the Gentiles. Acts 13:13-16,38-48 Romans 4:3 John 15:22-24 Romans 11:17 branches – natural Jew. Wild olive tree=Gentiles (v.23) The natural Jew is able to be graffed in again. Rom.11:1. This scripture defeats Calvinism. The Jews were seeking deliverance through Mt.Sinai. (Ten Commandments.) But deliverance comes through Mt.Zion. Galatians 4:24-26 John 5:39 Luke 24:25 John 8:32-59 Galatian 3:6-29 Those that are of the faith are called Children of Abraham. Christ died so that the Gentiles could get saved. Hebrews 11:8-10 Abraham was already in the land of promise and yet he was looking for a city. Revelation 21:9-10,2-5. The new Jerusalem is full of new Jews. 1 Peter 2:7-10 Ephesians 1:18-23 If you want to fulfill the scripture, come to the Church. Every word of prophecy has been fulfilled in the Church. Romans 9:30

This morning Bro. Randy Hargrave led a study on The Gospel Day. Matthew 13:11 2 Peter 1:19 The moon actually tells you that there is a day coming. The same light that rules the day actually rules the night also. Romans 1:19-20 Hebrews 10:1 Hebrews 11:3 The moon is a shadow of the sun just like your shadow. You see something but not the actual thing. Malachi 4:2 When did the Sun of righteousness come up? The answer is found in John 1:1-9. John 9:5 John 8:12 Luke 1:78-79 Something happened during the course of the day. Ananias and Sapphira tried to put some spotty religion over the woman. 2 Thessalonians 4:3-4 Talking about the spirit of the pope. The following scriptures prove that there had to be a falling away. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 2 Peter 2:1 Micah 3:6 Isaiah 21:11-12 This watchman said that the morning is coming, but after that the night. Notice in Matthew 13:8 that the percent for bearing fruit was 100, 60, 30. Then in Mark 4:20 it was just the opposite: 30, 60, 100. 1 Timothy 1:16 If you got saved, it was from a pattern. Revelation ch.12. This woman did not fall. But she was given wings and they couldn’t stop what was burned into history. The woman was there all through history, just not as bright as during the morning time. Out of the pagan Roman Empire came popery. The following scriptures prove that there is a gospel day. In the evening Bro. Stephen Hargrave led a study on,”The Chosen People.” Acts 10:9-28 This sheet came down from heaven, not up out of the earth. Peter would never have gone to a house of a Gentile and rightly so, because he was a Jew. (Cornelius was a gentile.) Acts 11:1-18 The Gentiles were brought into fellowship with the Jewish Christians. Romans 11:1-12 Verse 7. What was Israel seeking for? Answer – Romans 9:31-33 The Jews had an advantage of being born Jewish. They were in a better position to accept God. They had Moses and the prophets, the tabernacle, etc. 1 Peter 2:6-8 Matthew 21:33-44 ( This is what they did to the prophets.) Matthew 21:18-19,28-32 The fig tree represents the temple Jesus had just been in, and the nation around Him. Matthew 23:28-39 Notice verse 39. What he’s saying here is, “I’m not going to ever deal with you again until you acknowledge me.” Romans 11:11 Have they fallen away that they can never recover again? The answer is, ”God Forbid.” In verse one Paul is saying that he also is a jew and he has recovered. Ephesians 1:7-10 Ephesians 3:1-9 What Paul is saying in Ephesians is that we are in the fulness of time where the Jew and the Gentile can meet together in Christ Jesus. In order to go to heaven, you have to be a part of the One New Man. Romans 2:28-29 Romans 9:5-8 Philippians 3:3 Romans 4:9-16 The Jewish nations were but a shadow of things to come. To go to heaven you have to be a “Jew.” Nobody but Jews go to heaven.

“Christianity is the only ‘religion’ that is established upon prophecy.” – Bro. Randy Hargrave

This morning Bro.Randy Hargrave led a study on “The Greater and the Lesser Light.” God has never left the earth without light, even when it’s dark, it’s not completely dark. The history of the world is written on the pages of the Bible. The history of the world is the Church. Moon = Old Testament prophecy; Sun = New Testament gospel. 2 Peter 1:16-12 A fable is a story that is not true, but has been used to teach a lesson. Peter said that we are not following cunningly devised fables, but we are standing on something more sure. We have a definite and solid foundation as to why we are here. In order for us to understand where we are now, we have to understand where we were in the past. Revelation 12:1 This woman is standing on the moon – prophecy and the prophets. The heaven you sit in is suppose to be a representation to you of something. When you see the moon, you need to see the woman with the moon under her feet, and when you see the sun you are suppose to see the woman clothed with the sun. Galatians 2:19-20 The Church of God is built upon prophecy. Acts 2:12-20 People are asking the same thing about the restoration. They’re asking, “What meaneth this?” People are asking how we can say that we are the Church? The answer is: prophecy. We have no traditions which do not connect with prophecy. Revelation 12:9,17 Revelation 19:10 The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 12:11 They overcame by the word of their testimony and by their place in prophecy. Only one person is going to heaven and that is Jesus Christ. If we are a part of His testimony, then we’re going with Him. The scripture says, “Ye are the body of Christ.” The burden of Matthew was prophecy. Matthew 1:22; 2:14-15; 2:23; 4:12-16; 8:16-17; 12:17-18; 21:4-5; 27:35…that it might be fulfilled

In the evening Bro. Stephen Hargrave preached on, “The Name of the Church.” Genesis 1:26, 2:7,21-23. To address mankind you don’t pick one of their names. You say “man.” When you say “man” that includes man, woman, & children. Exodus 3:13-14. His name encompasses everything that the children of Israel could ever need. Isaiah 7:14 His name is Wonderful, Counsellor, etc. but that’s not the name of the Church. At the very least you should have the name right. If you don’t, then there must be something else wrong. The dilemma in the religious world today is,”What should we name our church?” The name has to be inclusive of the entirety of His being. Ephesians 3:14 The whole family is named after the Father. 1 Corinthians 1:11-13 When you’re saying,”I am of Paul then what you’re really saying is, ”I am of man.” It is rediculous for someone to say, ”I am Lutheran, Baptist, etc, because what you are really saying is, ”I am of man.” You don’t want to be a part of man because it will be dead, confusing, strong lacks of victory, multiplicity of division, splits, and division. Acts 20:28 If you are saved, you belong to the Church of God. You need to know that you are Church of God. The Church of God is not divided because Christ is not divided. We are one congregation only separated by locality. 1 Timothy 3:5 There are only Church of God ministers located in the Bible.

“You must KNOW in your heart.” – Bro. Stephen Hargrave

In the opening service of the meeting, Bro. Stephen Hargrave preached a thorough message on The Importance of Believing True Doctrine. The world wants you to think that it doesn’t matter what you believe. As long as we agree on the essentials, they say. But, it’s all essential.
Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is ONE Lord. Though there are many beliefs, doctrines, teachers, and gods, but to the Christian there is but one God and one faith.
There’s no such thing in Christianity as saying, “What faith are you of?” If we do not have the same faith, then either one or both of us are not Christians. If you believe in the One God, then He’ll definitely bring you to the one body. The doctrine of God will burn up every other doctrine. The doctrine of God will make you skip, it will make you cry tears of joy, it will make you shout when no one else is around. Doctrine will carry you away and drop you off somewhere. False doctrine also carries away – Eph. 4.13-14. The true doctrines are revealed unto you so that you can obey them; to obey the true doctrine is to disobey every false doctrine; to obey false doctrine you have to disobey true doctrine. You have to know doctrine, not only in the head but in the heart. To obey the doctrine of God is to have power in your life, and to move from glory to glory. You should be able to see some great leaps and bounds in your life. Rebellion against the truth is as the sin of witchcraft. When you are disobeying the doctrine of God, it’s like saying, “I want to have fellowship with devils” – 1 Sa 15.22-24. You must know doctrine. It’s your life line. Doctrine is not just for preachers, but it’s for everybody. The doctrine of Jesus is an experience of the heart.

We are very thankful for how the Lord gave us a good start into the meeting, and we are trusting the Lord to do great and mighty things this week. As the saints are arriving from Germany, Mexico, Manitoba, California, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Alaska, New Hampshire, and New York, it’s turning into the largest meeting we have ever had in Aylmer.

We are in Bondage

Christians are not in bondage to sin or the flesh. The spirit gives us liberty to reign over this.

The reason for creation was to glorify God. This is a bondage, It’s my boundary and my duty to glorify God.
We are in bondage to one another.
We are in bondage to acknowledge and walk in the light. We have no choice. We have no choice concerning the things God sends our way.

We sacrifice for the light. When the light comes on, we recognize certain things about ourselves we didn’t know were there before.

The Word of God is a bondage maker. It’s a chain to chain you to God.

There wouldn’t be so much backsliding if people had a healthy fear of God.

It’s not good for man to be alone. The Lord knew that we needed some help. He knew it’s not good for you to serve God alone.

You are never going to be able to understand or comprehend the fulness of God on you own.
God is not just dealing with people individually altogether.
God has created something that’s called unity, not union.
John 17:20-
Jesus Christ and the Father were not basically like-minded. If there ever was someone that was one, it was Jesus and the Father.
You can preach all the right messages, and believe all the right things, but if there’s no unity, the world is not going to believe.
If we all have the same spirit, then He’s going to show us all the same thing. He won’t show one a different standard of living from another.

Be careful because the enemy’s after our unity with the saints.
Unity is not just something that we decide that we want. But Jesus Christ died that we may be one.

People backslide and they think they’re going to have a fun time, but what they forget is that there’s still the Spirit of God.
Nobody has ever gotten save that the Spirit of God hasn’t dealt with.

The Holy Ghost is a reminder of the Words of Christ- doesn’t just say words without a foundation. You can know the truth by the Spirit of God.
There are some things that just can’t be understood without the Spirit revealing it to you.

When the Holy Ghost gives birth, He gives birth to His own kind The Holy Ghost will give birth to holy people.
The number one characteristic of someone who’s been born of the Spirit is that they must be holy.
The Spirit of God dwells, it doesn’t just come betimes. He doesn’t just visit.
The Spirit of God is not a visitor. The only thing that will cause Him to leave is when there’s sin.
The spirit of the devil can not give birth to holy people.
Unity comes from holiness. Holiness can’t be counterfeited.

Running the Race

Hebrews 12:1
There is a race that has been established before you. Everyone of us has a different race. It’s up to you as to what you’re going to do with what the Lord has set before you.
There are different kinds of races and you are expected to go through.
It’s not up to you to choose what kind of race you want. It’s already determined by God. Your race has been specially picked out for you concerning your personality with your weakness in mind. The race has already been established for you, and it’s upto you what you are going to do with it.
Exodus 13:17-18
When God chose the race for you. Don’t go looking for something else.
Races have hurdles. You can choose to go around them but if you do, you will be disqualified. The best thing you can do when you meet up with hurdles is jump.
When you’re in the midst of a trial and battle, just jump.
Once you’re past this one, there’s another one just around the corner, it’s prpbably bigger than the other one. But if you go around the first one you won’t make it through the second one.
1 Corinthians 9:24
When we get to the hurdle, the Lord puts springs to our feet.
What are you running this race for? Are you running with only one thought in mind? Your attitude makes a big difference.
You have to tell yourself, “I am going to win.”
The reason why people are backsliding is because they enter in the race and tell themselves, ” I don’t know if I can make it.”
You are going to have to be concerned about the smallest things. You can’t be looking back.
You have to get your eyes on the goal and be serious about it.
Revelation 4:11
If you’re only running this race because you don’t want to go to hell, you’re going to lose.
Sometimes the Lord wants you to run the race even when no one is cheering you on. Can you stand it when it’s only the Lord that’s cheering you on?
Sometimes you need to get down on your knees and hear the Lord cheering you on because you jumped over a hurdle. Sometimes no one will understand why you jumped.
This race is not just for you, it’s for Him.
2 Timothy 4:7
There’s coming a time where you will end this race.
This is a race of patience.

Among the army there’s not one slugish and lukewarm one.
If you’re a part of this army, then you are just as intense and stirred upas He is.
Coming to meeting is making war. When we sing, we make war against the enemy.

It’s important that we make war against formality.

It’s very dangerous to just come here and just sit here.
The moment you cease to be aggressive you lose your life.
Never have that spiritually satisfied attitude.
Never settle for a partial victory. We need blazing victories.

Make war at the evil spirit of unbelief. You will not remain if you don’t.

The blood stains of the enemy will make the saints so glorious. The blood stains of the enemy is like an ornament to the saints. The more blood stains we have the more glorious the church will be.
Anybody who has been doing well spiritually has been fighting.

You can detect the spirit. Find out where your enemy’s coming from before you can even see him, and make war.
As end time saints we have to become more aggressive as we go on.
Watch your desires. Watch your eyes. Sometimes you have to pluck out your eye.
Watch your money making spirit.
Watch your self seeking spirit.
There’s some discipline involved in being in the army.
Seek not to please yourself. Learn to sacrifice.
Strike down that frivolous spirit that’s light.
Make war against moods.
If you fail in your home life you fail everywhere.
If you don’t feel happy, you still have to be happy.
Don’t tolerate children whining.

You need to know exactly what you’re doing. It matters how you worship God. Just believing is false doctrine. Just going ot church is vain worship.

False doctrine comes from the doctrine of men.
It is a part of the false doctrine to bring instruments into the service of the Lord.

We do not believe in using instruments in the service of the Lord.
So long as Moses lived and reigned there were no instruments in the service.

“We try to live in the real world, so we turned off the TV.” – Bro. Stephen Hargrave

Bro. Allen Bontrager reminded the saints to keep on praying as we return to our homes. We need to keep getting a hold of God to be what we need to be.

The Television was the subject of Bro. Stephen Hargrave’s message in the morning service. A Christian is very careful with his soul. He ensures that the life he left, remains the life that is left. Television is not reality. There is a reason actors are called actors. They are non-realists and professional fakers. They are promotores of hypocrisy. The same people that criticize you for withholding the TV from your children will turn around and “rate” a movie R. Why not let everyone watch everything? We have a proprietary rating system – N=NONE. What is wrong with young people today, you ask? It is the TV – they are being fed a steady diet of immorality and sin. People punish their children for acting out what they see on the TV. It is not fair to the children; they are only living out the false doctrine you are teaching them. The reality of it all is that you are miserable and need to be saved, but you don’t know it because you are watching TV!

In the final, afternoon service, Bro. Ray Tinsman preached on the Two Gatherings. You are either eating at the marriage supper of the lamb or are being eaten by the fowls of the air. God is using His church to conduct both gatherings. People prefer to be neutral – neither here nor there. You have to be part of one or the other. If someone becomes lukewarm, God beckons the birds to come and dine. We don’t need sports during the meetings to keep the people interested. We have something far better to feast on.

Pray for the fire – that was the exhortation from Bro. Helmut Schmidt in the prayer meeting. We must pray for the fire to come down. God has many blessings for us, as long as we do not stand in our way. Our hearts must be prepared to receive the fire that He has promised to send.

In the morning service, Bro. Johnny Friesen preached on the Handwriting on the Wall. Amongst all the false doctrine around, there is light. There are still people walking in the truth. People look at the church with their physical eyes and come with preconceived ideas. You’ve given all else a chance, won’t you give the church a chance? Put your ideas aside and try the spirit. We need a supernatural experience that goes beyond human comprehension. God’s moving has to be discerned with spiritual eyes. Do you doubt the reality of truth? Your doubts can be erased your life can be set in order.

This evening, the singers sang a moving song about the amazing love of Jesus. It is so amazing that He loves you and I, considering how unworthy we are. Later, Bro. Gary Boevers preached on Being a Castaway. We have to realize that we might not make it. It is our responsibility to press through – not the preachers’. If you think the devil is not interested in you, you are badly mistaken. Beware of unholy alliances, Ananias and Sapphira lost their lives because of an unholy alliance. The church has a responsibility to keep the good and cast the bad way. It is not about gathering a crowd. We need a greater fear of God in this time. The world does not have a fear of God anymore. Not an abnormal fear, but a healthy respect and fear of God. Whatever it takes – we need to make it. The choice is yours: go to an eternal hell or deal with yourself while there is yet time.

Bro. Patrick O’Shea exhorted us in the prayer meeting to stir ourselves when we pray. We need to be stirred up when we pray for blessings.

The ordinances of feetwashing and the Lord’s Supper were observed in the morning service. It was a wonderful time of bonding and fellowship with the saints as we remembered the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus so that we might be saved.

Bro. Benjamin Tovstiga preached a profound message this evening on the Common Salvation. Salvation is like being in a prison for years, when one day you hear footsteps, a key in the lock, and you are free! Salvation is all about deliverance and nothing about the old life. This world is accustomed to choices. People want their religion customized to suit their tastes. But salvation is still the common solution that leads to common conclusions. This common salvation cannot be made to order – it is “one-size-fits-all”. We need the same consecration and holiness as the apostles to make it to heaven. If there are long spells of drought in your heart, you do not have true salvation. Where Jesus is, things just happen.

Sis. Elizabeth O’Shea reminded the saints in the prayer meeting to persevere in calling on the Lord for our blessings. Like blind Bartimeus, we need to call out until we get an answer.

In the morning service, Bro. Aaron Braun preached on Repentance. In order to get saved you need to come to the realization that you need to repent and have true, Godly sorrow. Forsake your sins and sin no more. True deliverance is available for every one that truly repents. God is more ready to forgive than people are to repent.

The special singers encouraged the saints with the wonderful news of deliverance in English and Spanish. Afterwards, Bro. John Strizu preached on God’s Time vs. Man’s Ideas. People are gathering crowds, but there are serious problems in the crowd. They are attempting to philosophize and theologize, ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of the truth. In the midst of all of this, God is working and has not changed. He does not need new entertainment or contemporary worship. He still uses angels ascending and descending to deliver His truth to His people. Man can never figure out in his mind what God is doing. People criticized and questioned Noah right from when he pulled out the blueprint until the door was shut. Maybe they didn’t like how the kangaroo was hopping, but at least he was getting to the ark! How long does it take you to see that the Lord is working?

Wednesday morning dawned refreshingly cool and sunny as the saints gathered for prayer meeting. Bro. Isaac Thiessen implored us to go beyond our comfort zone as we seek the Lord in prayer. Go a little farther, pray a little more. When you feel like your prayers are not going anywhere, pray on a little more. You will find special blessings and much joy as you go above and beyond comfort zone.

The city of Greenville graciously provided another permit for a street meeting today. Most of the saints present drove to Greenville for the street meeting held from 10:30 – 12:00. Hundreds if invitations, tracts, and booklets were distributed in the downtown area. Many songs were sung, which could be heard all along the main street via the sound system that had been set up. It was a beautiful day and many souls had the opportunity to hear and read the Gospel.

Many of the saints were on their feet tonight as the singers sang of the Lord’s great care for us. Bro. Peter Hildebrandt encouraged the saints with a message on We Are Going Somewhere. The ultimate motivating factor for all we do is the fact that we are going somewhere – Heaven! It is Biblical to be positive and thankful for what we have, but we have the tendency to be too positive about this world. Heaven is so great that words can only hint at the splendor. As Christians, we use what is available to us in this world – to a degree. But, these earthly things should not be woven into our spiritual fabric. For us, to die is gain! That is when true life begins.

In the prayer meeting, we were exhorted by Bro. John Strizu to touch Jesus. Like the woman that pressed through the crowds and touched the hem of His garment, we need to make the effort to touch Him. When we touch Jesus, the glory will come down. Be assured, He is aware of your slightest touch.

A street meeting was planned for Greenville, but had to be cancelled due to inclement weather. Instead, a mass choir with a large audience was assembled to record a selection of the reformation-era Church of God songs for a new CD.

The evening service began with the children ministering to us in song, followed by the saved youth. The special singers sang of how we are living in the days of Elijah, Ezekiel, and seeing the fulfillment of prophecy. Bro. Patrick O’Shea preached on What Is Your Purpose? Are you determined to use Jesus for your means or will you allow Jesus to use you for His means? Will you use the church for your benefit or can the church use you for its benefit? Your motive will determine your eternal destiny. What a tragedy when someone has made a start, but then fails to reach the goal. Birds of prey are circling, waiting for your demise. Our God is not hard, but rather expects that each individual will live up to their full potential. He will hold you accountable to what you knew. The Lord is not unreasonable – He gave so much, while we can only give so little. What are you willing to do to be saved? Lose your life and save it.

Bro. Matthew French exhorted the saints in the prayer meeting to realize the importance of seeking the Lord in prayer in the early hours, as Jesus did. We need to be the appropriate help to people around us, and, in order to do that, we must have the power from on high.

Later, in the morning service, Bro. Henry Hildebrandt preached on Being Committed. Religion in our day, as a whole, does not require committment. Spiritual common-law relationships and polygamy are not only tolerated, they are encouraged. This is not the will of God! He wants you to look, check, and get married. He expects a committment from those who serve Him. We are preaching an unpopular truth. People that are not committed are of no real value to the Church of God. It is not good for you to be alone. You need the committment of marriage to the Church. If you committed yourself in marriage to a now-dead body, you are free to commit yourself to a living body. This union is “until death do us part.”

Bro. Stephen Hargrave preached on Having a Vision of God’s Church in the evening service. Abraham looked for the fulfillment of God’s promise. Without us the Old Testament is incomplete, as we are now living in the fullness of the gospel. You can’t have a reflection of the moon unless the sun is shining. God is raising up dead stones and lining them up with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is building a house. We are no longer looking for the best place, but rather THE place. Unless you are in line with the prophecies of the Old Testament, you have no reason to exist.

Bro. Jacob Braun stressed the far-reaching effects of prayer to the assembly this morning. He encouraged us to pray for those we cannot reach and to pray with faith that God can touch their hearts. After prayer meeting, a variety of group photos were taken.

In the morning service the singers sang of walls coming down and Jesus being the answer to our problems. Afterwards, the Apple of the Lord’s Eye was the subject of Bro. Ray Tinsman’s message. The children of God, collectively, are the apple of the Lord’s eye. When you come to the apple of His eye, you have arrived. This is a place where grown men can cry, where the youth find happiness and true satisfaction, and where both spiritual and physical illness are healed. That is why we talk about Jesus and His love so much. He loved us so intensely that he brought us to the apple of His eye. If you feel the Lord is distant or you feel lonely – come to the apple of His eye.

The love of Jesus continued to be a cause for much rejoicing in the evening service. The singers sang about the new song in our hearts and then led the congregation in a moving rendition of Amazing Grace. Truly, it is so amazing that God should condescend to our hearts to redeem us from our sinful state. Bro. Randy Hargrave preached on the Characteristics of a Spiritual Earthquake. God is shaking the spiritual world in our time. He is separating light from darkness as in the days of Creation. He is restoring a place to be fed in your soul. The cry of our time is: Eat and Live! In the days of Joseph, God put the food where no one expected it to be – Egypt! Babylon is doing so bad because the light is doing so good. When you come to the light, your church-hopping days are over. If you leave the light, God will empty your pockets on the way out. God is masterminding this spiritual earthquake and there will be more destruction than ever before. Bablyon gets darker as the light gets brighter.

Another camp meeting in West Milton, Ohio began on a sweltering Saturday morning with a stirring prayer meeting exhortation from Bro. Ray Tinsman on the fundamental importance of prayer. We were exhorted to pray relentlessly for unprecedented blessings.

In the morning service, Bro. Daniel Layne preached on Building the House. Are you willing to work for God and His house? We have homes and are taken care of, but does God have a home? He wants us to become heavy equipment for Him so He can build His house. Will you be a spirital bulldozer or earthmover? We need aggressive construction activity. God wants a home built quickly. He has chosen this time to once again build his Home among His people.

This evening, the congregation was rejoicing as the singers sang of being rescued from the dry, dusty desert of sin, complete deliverance, and the tremendous change in our lives since the blood of Jesus cleansed us. Bro. Daniel Layne preached a profound message on Relationship. The most vital and foundational aspect of our Christian life is our relationship with Jesus. It’s not about how hard you work for the Church, how much money you give, or how you dress, but rather how is your relationship? Does it move you? Is it the living, burning axis in your life? That is how relationships are defined. If you do not have this fervent, deep love for Jesus in your heart, all you do for Him is in vain. Only if your relationship is the cornerstone of your Christian experience do all these other things become relevant and rewarding. True love for God will automatically form and shape you and give you the true life.
